SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - The Spotswood High School boys varsity basketball team lost to South Plainfield High School 63-30 on Friday. South Plainfield dominated the first half, outscoring Spotswood 27-11. The Tigers had double digit performances from Moshood Adebule, Dylan DeLisa and Josh Bradley. DeLisa and Bradley both netted 11 while Adebule was the game's top scorer with 13.

Spotswood's hot hand was Jack Welsh. Welsh dropped a dozen points for Spotswood. Andrew Bishara scored seven for the Chargers while George Guyette and Darius Harrison both chipped in three. The loss drops Spotswood's overall record to 5-7 and their Greater Middlesex Conference Blue Division record to 3-4.

Spotswood will look to rebound with a victory on Wednesday when the Chargers host Carteret High School at the Spotswood High School Gymnasium at 6 p.m. The Chargers lost the previous meeting between the two teams this season. Carteret has won its last two outings and boasts a 10-3 overall record.
