SPOTSWOOD, NJ - Spotswood High School DECA is calling all runners and walkers to come out to their Color Run on Sunday, October 1 at Spotswood High School. The Fun Run/Walk will be held on the Spotswood High School Varsity Soccer Field rain or shine from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Participants are encouraged to wear white so they can get as colorful as possible.
The cost of the Color Run is $20. All of the proceeds from the Color Run will go to benefit the American Liver Foundation. The admission price also includes raffles, DJ entertainment and race snacks. All of the runners/walkers will receive a swag bag with items to wear for the Color Run.
Runners and walkers can register for the October 1 Color Run before or after school at Spotswood High School. Participants can also register for the event online.
Race packets can be picked up on Thursday, September 28 at Spotswood High School from 2:15 p.m. and 5 p.m. or on race day, beginning at 8 a.m.
DECA is a co-curricular program that prepares students for college as well as professional careers by combining classroom instruction with real-life interactions that involve the community and area businesses as well as competitive events.
The American Liver Foundation was founded in 1976. Its goal is to promote education and research in the prevention and treatment of liver diseases as well as help find a cure. The ALF also offers support and assistance to families coping with liver diseases.
Spotswood High School is located at 105 Summerhill Road.
