The seventh annual Taste of South Plainfield, set for Monday, April 23 from 6 to 9 p.m., will offer an all-you-can-eat sampling of local fare, craft beer and wine. The South Plainfield Business Association-sponsored event will be held at South Plainfield Sen ior Center, 90 Maple Ave.
This very popular event will include ethnic specialties and desserts as well as a variety of wine and craft beer (courtesy of Wine Country in Lakeview Plaza).
Participating restaurants include Southside Clam Bar & Restaurant, La Bonbonniere Bake Shoppe, HomeTown Heros, Ciccio’s Pizza, Mr. Subs, Kenny’s Empanadas, Antojos Ticos, Sherban’s Restaurant, In-N-Out Bagel, Papa John’s, Casa Romero, Carmen’s Trattoria, Pho Today Vietnamese Restaurant and Imperial Deli.
In addition to great food and wine, the SPBA, along with the mayor and council, will honor local businesses that have been doing business in South Plainfield for 30 or more years.
Last year, more than 30 businesses were recognized. If your business qualifies and not recognized last year, please contact the SPBA.
Bring your appetite and enjoy the variety of food! Space is limited; save $5 on advance purchase tickets. All proceeds benefit scholarships for SPHS college-bound seniors.
