TD Bank Robbed, Edison Police Seek Assistance

EDISON, NJ - The Edison Police Department is looking for anyone who may have information regarding a bank robbery which occurred on Tuesday, March 17 at 4:30 p.m. at the TD Bank located at 2064 Oak Tree Road in Edison.

 The robber entered the bank then approached a teller, showed a note demanding money and indicating he had a gun, though no weapon was displayed. The robber obtained an undisclosed amount of cash then left the bank in an easterly direction.

 The bank robber is described as a black male, dark complexion, approximately 5’8”- 5’10” tall with a heavy build, mid to late 30’s, facial stubble with some grey hair, wearing a black leather jacket, grey shirt, neon yellow safety style vest, black rubber gloves, grey baseball-style cap with a black brim and black logo “OBEY”, baggy light colored denim jeans, black sneakers with white soles and clear safety glasses.
