PISCATAWAY, NJ – The Piscataway police ask for the public’s help in identifying the vehicle and driver who struck and seriously injured a 15-year-old girl Monday night, then left the scene. 

The pedestrian was hit at about 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of New Brunswick Ave. and Cedarwood Drive, police said in a news release. “The driver subsequently fled the scene following the crash.”

“The initial investigation into the crash indicates the suspect vehicle was traveling south on New Brunswick Ave. at the time of the crash,” said police. “The victim, who suffered multiple injuries, was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital by the North Stelton Rescue Squad.”

The crash remains under investigation.
