The South Plainfield Boys’ Cross-Country Team is having a very successful season. The Boys’ have contended in the division throughout the year to a notable 7-5 record. Much of this success is due to the continued consistency of rookie freshman Logan Betyeman.
Logan decided to join the cross-country team after his incredible success during last year’s middle school season. Logan has had a great rookie cross-country season, compiling three metals in the Fall Classic, Shore Coaches, and Class Meet Invitationals. He ran a personal best, 18:38, in South Plainfield’s 20-39 win over Wardlaw-Hartridge. Although only a freshman, he is a fierce competitor with a great work ethic. He looks to finish his rookie season in strong fashion, starting with the GMC Championships on October 26th.
