The South Plainfield Basketball Girls basketball team continued its winning ways.  The team first scored a 55-52 win over Woodbridge.  South Plainfield then scored a 26-18 win over New Brunswick and finished the week on Saturday with a 45-41 win over Metuchen.  The Tigers won 6 in a row to bring the team’s record to 8-4 for the season.  A major contributor during this run has been the play of freshman Mackenzie O’Brien.  

Mackenzie has averaged 12 points and 14 rebounds over the course of the week. On the season she is averaging 12 points and 13 rebounds to help South Plainfield. The Tigers are having a surprisingly outstanding season with the continued improvement of play from everyone including freshman Mackenzie O’Brien.
