SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ -The South Plainfield School district Latchkey program had a district sponsored program by  presented  by "The Lizard Guy" on March 6, 2016.  The program, which visited each grammar school on different days, was hosted by Enzo.

The program gives the students of Latchkey an education live animal presentation.  The students gathered around "The Lizard Guy" as he presented facts on each species of animals he presented.  Pictured below is the "Lizard Guy" with a Sulcata  Tortoise which ranges from 100 to 200 pounds which is the second largest tortoise.  This tortoise lives in the dessert and comes out in the morning then again for dinner.  He eats only plants and his urine goes through his system to hydrates his body.  Kristen Herzog, who is the administrator for the Latchkey program, brings in these programs for the education of the latchkey students.
