SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The Moretti Team was recently recognized by Berkshire Hathaway Home Services for its sales in 2017.
Earlier this month, Team Leader Guy Moretti received the 2017 Chairman’s Circle Platinum Level Sales Award, one of Berkshire Hathaway’s most prestigious designations given to the top 1 percent of sales agents nationally. Additionally, Moretti’s son, Eugene, was the recipient of the NJAR 2017 Platinum Award.
Guy has been recognized within Berkshire Hathaway Home Services for the past six years, earning the Gold and Platinum Level awards; he was also honored with the company’s Legend Award in 2016. Eugene, a past New Jersey Association of Realtors (NJAR) Bronze and Silver Award recipient, was recognized for his sales performance in 2017 and received the NJAR Platinum Sales Award, the organization’s highest industry honor.
For three generations, the Moretti name has been synonymous with quality real estate service. Guy’s late father Gene Moretti started in the real estate business in 1957 and Guy joined his dad in the business right out of college. In 1983, Guy purchased the business and, together with his wife, Toni, built a small niche brokerage consisting of a 1,000 square foot real estate office with four agents. Over the years, the agency grew to include 80 full time and 120 part time agents with offices in Middlesex and Somerset Counties.
In 2011, the Morettis, both lifelong South Plainfield residents, sold the business to Berkshire Hathaway NJ Properties where Guy currently works as a broker/salesperson. As Team Leader of the Moretti Team, Guy participates in and manages a highly productive sales team entrusted with listing and selling residential and commercial properties.
“Now, as an agent I can personally deliver the quality of service customers expected from us. It’s much more personally rewarding.”
The Moretti Real Estate Team also includes Toni Moretti, Client Care & Marketing Manager, as well as Gi Sofka Transaction Manager, Glenn Jones and Eugene Moretti. With a decade of experience in real estate, Eugene attributes his success to a ‘Team Approach’ and a customer service mentality he experienced from a young child.
