SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ -In order for a student to qualify they must have 3.50 g.p.a for marking - be involved in 2 extra or co-curricular activities for the marking period - cannot have a D, F, of NC in any course. The students cannot have any am detentions - sat detentions, i.s.s or o.s.s, all of which disqualifies the students and no more than 2 office detentions for the marking period, no outstanding book, library or equipment owed. The Boyle Memorial and Sodexo Food Services donates lunch, drinks and Italian ice and the South Plainfield Education Foundation donates funds for the purchase of various gift cards for the contests that are held at the Gold Card Picnic.

PISCATAWAY -- The South Plainfield High School varsity baseball team defeated Piscataway, 5-2, in eight innings Monday afternoon at Columbus Park in Piscataway.
