SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The South Plainfield Tigers Sharks swim meet may have been delayed by rain and lightning, but the bad weather couldn't put a damper  on today’s swimmers as the Tiger Sharks went on to defeat Roycefield Rapids 290-226. The victory was South Plainfield’s first of the year bringing the Tiger Sharks’ record to 1-1 on the season.

The meet was decided by relays as South Plainfield went on to win five of the six relay races. “The relays were the key,” said South Plainfield Head Coach Laurie Post. “The meet was within 25 points until the relay races started.”

South Plainfield won all three girls medley relay races winning the girls 8+ Under, girls 9-12 and girls 13-18. The South Plainfield Boys won the 9-12 free relay race and 13-18 free relay.
