On Friday night at 6:30 p.m., the South Plainfield Tigers meet Woodbridge H.S., at Jost Field for the Tigers 2013 home opener.  The Tigers are looking to go 3-0 for the first time since 1982.  Last week, South Plainfield defeated perennial powerhouse Carteret, 33-14.  In their last two wins the Tigers have averaged 40 points on offense, while holding opponents’ to only 14 points on Defense.

Woodbridge enters the game 2-1, but they are coming off a 44-0 loss to Monroe.

The Tigers are asking the community to support them by wearing black to the game on Friday night.  The team wishes to create a “Black Out” within their home stands, which will help create a great atmosphere for the home opener.
