EDISON, NJ- The South Plainfield varsity boys soccer team defeated J.P. Stevens, 2-0, for their second consecutive victory. Anthony Rovayo broke a scoreless tie in the second half to get the Tigers on the board.  Josue Cevallos also scored for the Tigers.

Jacob Villacres and Kevin Casteblanco each had assists in the winning effort.  Kyle Dennis had his second consecutive shutout in goal for the Tigers. Dennis had a total of eight saves in the game. J.P. Stevens goalkeeper Sridhar Sriram had four saves.
