South Plainfield, NJ – The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for South Plainfield as the fourth Nor’easter in three weeks barrels up the eastern seaboard. The storm is kind of a bad trick as snow is set to begin on what is the first day of spring.

The latest forecast call for 8-14 inches of heavy snow. The NWS is warning heavy snow with strong wind gusts is likely to cause down trees and powerlines. This storm is predicted to be much like the March 7th storm which left thousands of residents without power, and wide spread tree damage.

The warning is in effect Tuesday evening from 6:00pm through 2:00am Thursday morning.
