The South Plainfield Junior Baseball Club held its 3rd Annual Comedy Show on Saturday April 27th at the South Plainfield Senior Center. A total of 178 people attend this widely popular event.

This year’s Comedians were opening act Graig Loydgren who got the crowd going, then local Colonia resident and TV and Movie actor Jimmy Palumbo killed it will so many jokes the crowd couldn’t stop laughing. Last was the headliner Michael Gaffney who had the audience rolling on the floor with a full hour set.

The Baseball Club made a $4,560 profit from the event and 100% of all money raised will go back into the baseball club making it a better place for the children playing at the club.

The SPJBC Executive and Women’s Auxiliary Officers would like to thank everyone who attended this fundraiser and these local businesses who donated food for the event  - Mr. Subs, Home Town Hero’s, Pizza Stop, Southside Clam Bar, KC’s Corner, Ciccio’s Pizza, Rodolfo’s Pizza, Carmen’s Pizza, Tony’s Pizza, Planet Wings, Gabrielle’s and Luigi’s Pizza .

As well a great big thank you to Shannon from Columbia Bank for donating all of the Paper Products and last but not least for Sharon Ciullo for not letting the Senior Center burn down LOL and Angelo for setting up!!!!!!
