It is important that everyone be given a voice in the future of our great borough. With that in mind the South Plainfield Democrat Organization is opening up the selection process to anyone who is considering becoming Mayor or a member of the Borough Council. The only requirement is that you must be 18 years of age and live in town. Municipal Chair Bill Tankiewicz summed up the selection process saying “The Democratic party has always welcomed different points of view. We understand that no one has all the answers. That is why we are making the candidate selection process as open as possible. The more people involved in decision making the better it is for all of our residents.” Anyone interested can write to PO Box 422 or email at email@example.com. Just include your contact information and we will reach out to you.
