SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Three men have been arrested in connection to the recent residential burglary, which occurred on Amboy Avenue on January 2nd, 2018.

The arrest of Anthony Laeyt, 33, of Manville, NJ, Albert Tomaszfski, 30, of Manville, NJ, and Kenneth Lewis, 26, of Plainfield, NJ, was conducted by the South Plainfield Police Department Detective Division, along with assistance of a local residence and businesses within the borough.

After a thorough investigation, a Superior Court search warrant was executed by member of the South Plainfield Police Department in a room at the Red Carpet Inn, on Hamilton Blvd in South Plainfield, NJ.  Located in the room were the suspects along with proceeds from the burglary on Amboy Avenue.  Further investigation revealed that the actors also burglarized homes in Manville and Bridgewater, NJ.

The suspects were processed and charged with the following offenses:

Laeyt – Burglary, Possession of Stolen Property, Theft, Possession of Burglary Tools, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Tomaszfski – Possession of Stolen Property and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Lewis – Possession of Stolen Property and Hindering Apprehension.

Laeyt, Tomaszfski, and Lewis were transported to the Middlesex County Adult Corrections Center pending a bail hearing.
