The Department of Public Works will have three separate crews performing tree and branch removal tomorrow March 17th. All branches and twigs should be brought to the curb. Cleanup efforts will not be completed tomorrow. This will be an on-going effort to remove all debris from the Borough. Additionally, the yard waste site will be operating on summer hours which are 8:00am – 4:00pm.
Weather reports are forecasting a fourth nor’easter to hit our region next Tuesday. It is still very early to predict the final track of the storm, but our Office of Emergency Management and Department of Public Works are monitoring the storm and are making appropriate preparations.

Mayor Anesh started his political career as an elected Councilman in 2005 and 2009. He was elected in 2010 as Mayor. Matt has lived in South Plainfield all his life. He attended Sacred Heart School, South Plainfield High School and graduated in 1995 from the College of New Jersey with a Bachelors of Science in Economics. He is a Vice President with a Fortune 100 Financial Services Company in New York City. Matt is a parishioner of Sacred Heart Church, a member of the SP Elks and Unico. He is married to Kimberly Anesh and has 16 year old twin boys, Harrison and Joseph. In his spare time, he enjoys golf and ice hockey.
