The library will be closed Sunday, April 14 in observance of Palm Sunday, Friday, April 19 in observance of Good Friday, and Sunday, April 21 in observance of Easter. We will also be closed on Tuesday, April 16 for a staff training day.

The staff will be getting training to serve you better with our new library system, coming May 1. When we join the LMxAC consortium, you will have access to over 30 libraries in Middlesex, Union, Somerset and Monmouth Counties (but not all – ask us for a list). Here are some things you may want to do before the changeover:

  1. Continue to use and enjoy the library as you always have.
  2. If you live in one of the LMxAC towns, make sure your local library card is up to date. If you don’t have one, now is the perfect time to get one!
  3. Pay down your fines.  The consortium blocks borrowing after you have accumulated $10 in fines. (You may wait until after May 1, when you will be able to pay online with a credit card)
  4. Download any saved lists you have made. Ask at the Reference Desk if you would like help with this.
  5. Your “Reading History” will be exported, but you may want to save a backup.

The library is open the rest of the days this month, and as always, there is plenty going on.
