This past week South Plainfield’s Co-ed Swim Team finished their season.  The team was competitive in most meets, many times competing against bigger schools.  Junior Alyzah Ziga was an integral part of the Tiger’s Swim Team.

On Friday 2/2, Alyzah scored a total of 8 points against Linden with a 1st place in the 200 Individual Medley with a time of 2:29.55 and in 1st place in the 100 Yard Backstroke with a time of 1:06.81. She was also on two relays that both finished in 2nd place and scored a total of 6 points.  On the season, Alyzah has earned a total of 230 points for the Tigers.  That includes thirteen 1st place finishes on the year.  In the Greater Middlesex Conference Alyzah finished fourth in 100 Yard Backstroke.  With all Alyzah’s success, the Tigers are looking forward to next season in the pool.
