The South Plainfield High School Girls’ Lacrosse team is off to a fantastic start to their 2018 season with a record of 2-0. This past week, the Lady Tigers crushed division rival Bishop Ahr by the score of 14-2, and then went on to beat Boonton 6-3. A huge part of the success for South Plainfield has been due in a large part to the contributions of senior goalie Tatianna Sutor.
Tatianna has been a staple in goal for the Lady Tigers since her sophomore year. She currently holds the school record for career saves at 485. In South Plainfield’s opening game of the season, Tatianna and her defense held Bishop Ahr to only 2 goals, while Tatianna made six saves. This past weekend against Boonton, Tatianna had another fourteen saves in the Lady Tigers victory. With Tatianna’s consistency in goal, South Plainfield Girls’ Lacrosse is poised for a great year.
