Cruz Gives Up 3 Runs, Patriots Lead Slips Away

CENTRAL ISLIP, NY – The Long Island Ducks (21-16, 64-43) scored four runs in the eighth inning to drop the Somerset Patriots (14-24, 56-52) 6-4 on Tuesday night at Bethpage Ballpark.

The Patriots got the scoring started in the first inning with an RBI single from Michael Ohlman, but it wouldn’t last long.
