The Athlete of the Week: Tyler Balent Football Quarterback/Free Safety

The South Plainfield Football team finished its season with a win over Lawrence in the NJSIAA Crossover Game. Senior Tyler Balent concluded his senior year on the gridiron for the Tigers with a 44-30 victory. Tyler was one of the most consistent performers for South Plainfield this season.

South Plainfield Recycling Complex Closed Friday, December 3, for Road Repair

Kenneth Avenue will be milled and paved on December 2 and 3.  The Yard Waste Site will be open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday but there will be no access to the Complex on Friday.  It will be open as usual on Saturday 8 - 3 at Recycling and 8 - 4 at Yard Waste.
