Breakfast to Benefit South Plainfield High School Football

The South Plainfield Elks Lodge #2298 will host a breakfast to benefit South Plainfield High School Football on Sunday,

October 27, 2019,  from 8am - Noon . 

The all-you-can-eat (for dine-in only, takeout available at posted prices) menu will feature eggs made to order, pancakes,french toast, bacon, sausage, home fries, toast, juice and coffee. 

Prices are $8.00 for adults, $7.00 for seniors, $5.00 for children ages 5-12 and free for ages 4 and under.  Free breakfast will be offered to all veterans who present proof of service.  The South Plainfield Elks Lodge is located at 1254 New Market Avenue, South Plainfield.  Any questions, please call  908-668-9750

The Athlete of the Week: Josiah Harvey Football Running Back/Linebacker

The South Plainfield Football team won its final game Friday night in its annual North vs South game.  The Tigers were impressive in their 54-41 win over rival North Plainfield.  South Plainfield was led by senior Josiah Harvey. 

Josiah had an outstanding game against North Plainfield.  He carried the ball twenty-one times for 238 yards while scoring three touch downs.

The South Plainfield Knights of Columbus, Council #6203 held their 12 th Annual “Trivia Night” Fundraiser at the South Plainfield Senior Center on November 2nd.

 

Thirteen teams and over 90 people attended this great fundraiser and over $3,000 was raised and all proceeds will be donated to the Middlesex County Make A Wish Foundation.
