The Athlete of the Week: Antonella Notino Girls’ Gymnastics

This year, the South Plainfield Girls’ Gymnastics Team has been competing in the winter due to Covid-19.  The Lady Tigers have been getting better as the season progresses.  South Plainfield is a young team with most novice gymnasts.  They have a season high score of 91/1 vs East Brunswick.  Leading the way for South Plainfield this year is junior Antonella Notino.

April 17 is South Plainfield Volunteer Litter Clean-Up Day

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - Come out for the Borough-wide litter cleanup on Saturday morning, April 17.  Volunteers can collect equipment at the municipal building at 2480 Plainfield Avenue from 9 to 10 a.m.  We will be clearing litter and trash from roadsides, parks, streams, and vacant lots during the morning. Preregistration is required to maintain Covid-safe protocols.
