Letter Endorsing the Anesh Team - Melanie Mott and Pete Smith

October 21, 2019

Dear Editor

Last year I wrote about how then Mayor Candidate Doyon and her team’s signs said in bold “elect democrats” on the top of the sign.

The 2018 sign spoke for itself. Remember in 2018, in her mind, the political party came first, and everything else secondary.  It was just a glimpse of who they would answer too. Not the people. The political party would be ...

Debbie Boyle for BOE

Dear Editor

Debbie Boyle submitted an explanation and reasons for instituting the litigation relating to certain transgressions which she believed had taken place related to her service on the B.O.E. and the P.T.O. There was no name calling, and no attempt to diminish anyone. In fact, she did not even mention anyone by name or innuendo.   She also expressed her hope ...

Letter from Ernie “Jim” Giannakis

I am writing this in response to Bogdan Fryszczyn’s letter from October 11th.

I would like to set the record straight…yes, my wife works for the District and has since July 2000, which is more than five years  before I even thought about running for the Board of Education, no help there. As far as my daughter, she too works for the District, however I was not on the Board ...

Letter from Ernie “Jim” Giannakis

While I serve as a member of the Board of Education, the following statements and opinions are made in my capacity as a private citizen, and not in my capacity as a Board member.  These statements are also not representative of the Board or its individual members, and solely represent my own personal opinions.

Dear Editor

I have sat on this Board for the better part of 14 years, and ...

Mott and Smith will continue Anesh teams focus on holding down taxes.

October 16, 2019

Saying results count, Mayor Anesh’s team this week urged residents to compare taxes under the Democrats to the results under local Republicans.

“Holding down taxes and spending is a key priority,” said Council Candidate Melanie Mott.  “Over the last decade, the mayor’s team kept taxes in check, with the local tax rate rising less than one percent. By ...

New Jersey Transit has more than 2,000 buses and more than 700 trains, and there are more than 900,000 trips taken on NJ Transit every weekday. In total, passengers ride more than 3.5 billion miles per year on the system. In the past, Governor Murphy referred to NJ Transit as a ...
