Toast 2021 in Honor of Frank Luna Benefiting CASA of Middlesex County

CASA is proud to recognize Frank Luna as the Toast 2021 Honoree. He caught and gave back the first homerun ball of NYY Andrew Velasquez with the same sense of compassion and integrity that drives him everyday to protect and enrich the lives of those most vulnerable in our communities, especially our children.

Frank Luna, Infantryman of the New Jersey Army National Guard, believes that children deserve our best. And his best captures moments and creates opportunity effectuated in grass roots initiatives and nationally recognized efforts, that make a measurable difference in tangible need, but more importantly an immeasurable difference in the hearts of the children he humbly seeks to serve.

CASA will also be paying tribute to the late Kenneth Armwood, a past Toast Honoree and a man who led a purposeful life serving others in need.

All proceeds benefit CASA of Middlesex County and the children CASA serves. CASA is non-profit dedicated to standing up for the needs of children living in foster care, advocating for these children through the hard work of trained volunteers.

South Plainfield Recycling Complex Closed Friday, December 3, for Road Repair

Kenneth Avenue will be milled and paved on December 2 and 3.  The Yard Waste Site will be open 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Thursday but there will be no access to the Complex on Friday.  It will be open as usual on Saturday 8 - 3 at Recycling and 8 - 4 at Yard Waste.
