The Athlete of the Week: Gabriel Mont Boys’ Soccer Forward

The South Plainfield Boys’ Soccer Team continues their winning ways while trying to secure a Blue Division Championship.  On the season the Boys’ Soccer team is currently 9-4.  The Tigers have wins over GMC rivals South Brunswick and are currently tied at the top of the division.  The team this year is led by senior captain Gabriel Mont.

National Take Back Initiative

The South Plainfield Police Department and the DEA are coordinating the National Take Back Initiative, whereby unused, unwanted and expired medications can be surrendered by the public for safe destruction.  The event is scheduled for Saturday, October 26, 2019, between the hours of 10 am and 2 pm. The collection point will be the South Plainfield Courtroom located within Borough Hall.
