Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the South Plainfield Public Library

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Hispanic Heritage Month recognizes the contributions made and the important presence of Hispanic and Latino Americans to the United States and, on a local level, the heritage and culture will be celebrated with a special event sponsored by the South Plainfield Public Library. 

The library’s Hispanic Heritage Month, planned Sept. 22 from 12 to 3 p.m.

September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month

SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – September is National Library Card Sign-Up Month and local libraries, including South Plainfield, are encouraging residents of all ages to get one. St. Bart's 2018 Labor Day Italian Festival Schedule Announced

SCOTCH PLAINS, NJ — The St. Bart's Italian Festival is an annual tradition in Scotch Plains that bids farewell to summer and kicks off the fall calendar.

Founded in 1974, the festival features live music, amusement park rides, games, and, of course, great food, including pizza, pasta, clams, mussels, calzones, and the festival's famous zeppoles.

18th District Legislators Host Youth Art Contest

September 1, 2018

Edison, NJ – The Office of Legislative District 18 is hosting a Youth Artwork Contest. Young artists can submit their art in themed age groups, ages 6-10, ages 11 – 15, and ages 16-20.  The deadline to make submissions has been extended through September 30, 2018.
