On Thursday February 20 at 7pm the South Plainfield Public Library welcomes back Jim Rose who will present “The Healing Power of Meditation”.  Meditation is being prescribed by many medical practitioners and has been widely recognized as a means to enhance one’s health and reduce stress. Throughout the nation meditation has become a positive force for health and well-being. Join Jim Rose, retired executive with Johnson & Johnson and long-time meditator who has been practicing meditation for over 30 years.  Jim will share how meditation can improve our physical, mental and spiritual health. You will have a chance to practice this simple technique that can reduce stress, enhance relaxation and promote inner growth.

Jim Rose, M Ed., Rutgers University, is a retired executive of Johnson & Johnson a multi-national corporation. He has 35 years of experience in Human Resources management, employee development and conflict resolution. He was recognized by Human Resources Executive magazine as one of the top HR executives in the US. Jim currently provides workshops and training to groups throughout the world where he connects meditation and spiritual development to important aspects of our lives. He has been meditating for over 30 years and now focuses much of his time on his own spiritual development and in helping others who wish to do the same.
