SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – It’s game day today at KC’s Korner. KC’s Korner’s NFL Sunday ticket specials are considered by many to be the best in the State. “When we prepared for the season we wanted to do something big, by keeping the prices small,” said owner Walter Kurilew. “We are offering $1.50 Miller Light Drafts and pizza slices and hot dogs for a buck as our Sunday Game Day special.”

The game day special does seem to be special. According to Brookstonbeerbulletin.com the last time beer sold for an average price of $1.50 was 1981.

“Our prices may go back to 1981, but our food and beer are fresh,” said Kurilew.

A lot has changed since 1981. It was Lawrence Tayor’s rookie season in the NFL Ray Perkins was the Giants Head Coach and Walt Michaels was the coach for the Jets. The Giants had Phil Simms at quarterback and the Jets had Richard Todd.

“This year may not be as good for the Jets in Giants, but after the game they can still come to KC’s for a $1.00 pizza, a $1.00 hotdog, a $1.50 Miller light draft or some of our Oktoberfest specials,” said Kurilew. “You always come up a winner at our Sunday game day specials.”
