SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ - On November 2nd, the South Plainfield Pop Warner Mighty Mite Cheerleaders traveled to Trenton, NJ, where the small squad of 10 girls participated in the Eastern Region Pop Warner Cheer & Dance Championships. The girls enthusiastically showcased their hard work and dedication while competing against 16 other teams in their division. The Mighty Ten earned second place in the competition securing one of two spots and are advancing to the National Championships at the ESPN Wide World of Sports in Orlando, Florida in December. This is the first year that the Mitey Mite Division is able to enter the competitions at a competitive level, and we are so proud that they were able to advance through locals, states and regions are now headed to the National Championships. Over the next few weeks, the Mitey Mites will continue to work hard and train for Orlando!

On November 9th, their sister team, the Pee Wee Cheerleaders, will compete in their division at the Eastern Region Championships for an opportunity to advance to Nationals as well. We wish them the best of luck!
