SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – South Plainfield High School athletes were recognized for their achievements in fall sports during the board of education’s Jan. 9 Committee of the Whole meeting. 

“We had a great fall sports season. Our students did a phenomenal job athletically and, more importantly, in representing our school and what it means to be from South Plainfield and showing great sportsmanship,” said South Plainfield High School Principal Ronnie Spring. 

Certificates were presented to members of the high school’s field hockey, gymnastics, cross country, tennis, football, and soccer teams with the respective coaches taking to the podium to highlight the successes and accomplishments their players had throughout the season.
