SOUTH PLAINFIELD - It has been nearly two weeks since Governor Phil Murphy signed Executive Order No. 107, directing all New Jersey residents to stay at home until further notice to contain the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Within the order, restaurants were deemed essential businesses and numerous restaurants in South Plainfield opted to stay open to serve the community. And the South Plainfield community has done their best to support the community's restaurants, delis and bakeries by continuing to patronize the town's establishments.
As the uncertainty of the duration of the quarantine continues, many local restaurants have adjusted their hours of operation and days they are open. While many have had to close their doors temporarily, a large number remain open. Because dining in restaurants is no longer an option in the state of New Jersey as per the state's quarantine restrictions, many are offering pick up, delivery and/or curbside pick up.
TAPinto South Plainfield has compiled an updated list of South Plainfield restaurants, delis and bakeries that are open during this time of quarantine.
For convenience, websites, phone numbers, addresses, hours of operation and specials have been included. The list continues to change due to the uncertainty of the times. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org if adjustments need to be made.
