SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – The South Plainfield Senior Center, located at 90 Maple Avenue, is adding two new programs to the Center's already busy schedule.

The Senior Center is partnering with the Nursing Program of Kean University to sponsor an educational and support group for those people who have diabetes. Topics of discussion will include healthy habits, nutrition, stress management, and system awareness. Classes will begin on Wednesday, March 22 and continue on March 29, April 5, 12, 19, and 26. The discussions will begin at 10 am and conclude at 11:30 am.

The Senior Center is proud to introduce another innovative program entitled Y.E.S., which stands for Your Experiences Shared. As a weekly discussion group, Y.E.S. Is designed to enlighten and engage its members with a variety of topics from fond memories to current events. The initial meeting is planned for Tuesday, April 4th at 10:00 am, and is being sponsored by the Arista Care Cedar Oaks.
