SOMERVILLE, NJ - Natalie Pinero, former public information officer for Union Township and director of Legislative Research and Constituent Outreach for Union County will be hired as the new executive director of the Downtown Somerville Alliance at Monday night's reorganization meeting.
She is also an adjunct professor at Kean University, where she teaches Public Relations and Business and Professional Communication.
She is also the founder and CEO of INK Creative Strategies, a firm that specializes in marketing and branding.
Government Management Advisors. LLC., of East Brunswick was hired last year by the DSA to conduct a search for an executive director of the newly incorporated Downtown Somerville Alliance, Inc.
She was one of 130 candidates to submit resumes for consideration.
Pineiro earned a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts from Kean University in Communications Studies.
She will fill the position vacated when former executive director Beth Anne Macdonald, who had been hired in 2012, resigned in August to take the job as director of Economic Development in Roselle Park.
