SOUTH PLAINFIELD, NJ -The South Plainfield Knights of Columbus Council #6203 saves the day for another local resident

Fellow Knights member Bill Butrico was contacted by local South Plainfield resident Nancy Parello, asking for help in donating and installing a wheel chair ramp for her husband who is wheelchair bound.

The Knights sprang into action and took on the task and completed the ramp installation in just one afternoon.

Nancy Parello commented “We are so overwhelmed with joy. We cannot thank the Knights of Columbus enough for their generous donation. Thank you for not only making our lives a little easier, but for also providing us with a little normalcy after having to adjust to so many new changes. We can finally all sit at the table together again and share a meal for the first time as a family after 7 long months.  We cannot express how grateful and how blessed we are truly feeling. Thank you again to the South Plainfield Knights of Columbus”

The following Knights members and friends helped build the lift: Nolan, Colin and Tom Berry, Pat Flanagan, Dan Ratti, Rob Richkus, Gerry Butrico, Walter Adenau, Carl Adlassnig and Team Leader Bill Butrico

Over the years, the Knights have installed many handicap ramps and lifts around town for needy residents.
