CRANFORD, NJ - The South Plainfield 10U travel softball team wrapped up their 2019 Fall season winning the D2 Parkway League Championship in dominating fashion. 

After finishing the regular season with a 7-0-1 record, the Tigers entered the 22-team playoff race as the number 2 seed. During their run to the championship game, the Tigers dispatched Springfield 11-0, Cranford Smith 10-1, and Colonia 10-0. 

In the finals, South Plainfield met Cranford Andre who upset number 1 seed Metuchen.  With superior pitching, great defense, and timely hitting the South Plainfield team completed their run with an impressive 10-0 shutout victory and capping off their successful undefeated season as league champions.  In the playoffs, the Tigers outscored their opponents 41-1.

Members of the team were:  Julia Adenau, Zoe Cabrera, Cecelia Cassio, Madison Droge, Annie Flannery, Paige Fonti, Ava Fusaro, Carly Hoppe, Isabella Kapsch, Aaliyah Lewis, Samantha Riccardo, and Sophia Valle.
