FRANKFORD, NJ - The Sussex County Main Library in Frankford will host its 8th Annual Touch-A-Truck event on Friday, April 21 from 11 a.m. to noon

During that time children will be able to get up close and personal with an ambulance, a fire truck, a dump truck, a school bus and a backhoe to name just a few. More than 200 children attended last year for the opportunity to climb in and out of the vehicles while their operators answered questions about how they work and what they do. “This is always a great day,” stated Youth Services Librarian Rachel Burt. “It’s not just the kids who get excited. Plenty of adults have never seen how a backhoe operates or gotten to sit in the driver’s seat of a big rig. They come for the kids, but have just as much fun themselves.”

Touch-A-Truck will be held rain or shine in the side lot of the Main Library, located at 125 Morris Turnpike in Frankford. Come any time between 11:00 a.m. and noon, no registration required.
