SPARTA, NJ – Last week the student population at Sparta High School rose by about 50 children for Take Your Child to Work day.  Several of the teachers planned activities for the young visitors.

In the Chemistry classrooms they created Tie-Dye t-shirts.  They had a chance to try their hand at conducting in Loni Bach’s orchestra room.  Some had the chance to get a guitar lesson as well.  Carnival games offered additional fun in Tina Johnson’s classroom.  Lynn D’Amelio’s physical education classes hosted kick ball games.

The media center was home base for the visitors where Angela Deluccia had snacks, lunch and additional activities including gazing at the galaxy under the star dome.
