BROADWAY, N.J., January 28, 2013 – Donna Fox, founder of Cinderooz™ and creator of the Cuddle `n Carry sweatshirt, will display her patented outerwear that doubles as a pet carrier at the annual New York Pet Fashion Show on Friday, February 8, 2013. The event, which kicks off the famed Westminster Dog Show weekend, will be in the 18th floor ballroom of The Hotel Pennsylvania, 401 Seventh Avenue in New York City, from 6:00 to 11:00 p.m.

The Cuddle `n Carry is a high-quality zip-front sweatshirt with an inner pouch that holds any small animal—dog, cat, bird, rodent—weighing up to 10 pounds. It was developed by Fox after she adopted a sickly Italian greyhound that needed the continual closeness and security of being tucked inside a shirt. The patented design incorporates the pouch between the outer zipper and the wearer’s body.

“I had adopted a dog that needed a lot of TLC at the time. His need for closeness and my need for mobility prompted me to design a shirt that was also a pet carrier,” said Fox, a resident of Broadway. “The Cuddle `n Carry offers pet owners the flexibility of wearing it as a sweatshirt or as a pet carrier with their special friends.” Small animals may snuggle safely and securely inside the pouch and poke out their heads whenever they desire. Fox’s customers include wild-bird owners, cat owners, and owners of toy dogs and teacup breeds. The shirt also accommodates rodents such as rabbits, guinea pigs, and ferrets.

The New York Pet Fashion Show draws pet owners, dog lovers, and Westminster Dog Show enthusiasts who want to see the latest in pet wear and accessories, and meet pet experts and broadcast pet show celebrities. A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Animal Haven Shelter in Manhattan. There will be several dog fashion shows, featuring adoptable dogs from the shelter and an appearance by Lassie.

Nency Escamilla, Ms. New York 2011, will model the Cuddle `n Carry on the runway with her miniature poodle, Boo Boo, to demonstrate how the uniquely constructed sweatshirt works.

Unlike bulky pet satchels that must be carried by hand or on a shoulder, the Cuddle `n Carry evenly distributes the animal’s weight in front and provides hands-free carrying and comfort for the pet owner. It is excellent for carrying small animals that are recuperating from illness or surgery, for promoting bonding for foster or new adoption situations, or for taking pets along on outings.

Individuals may order the Cuddle `n Carry by Cinderooz™ from the website, Retailers and others who are interested in becoming registered resellers are welcome to apply at or contact Donna Fox at (908) 581-1538 or dfox[at]cinderooz[dot]com. Tickets for the New York Pet Fashion Show are available at
