Two days of fun and music and shopping and hands on activities. Bring the kids to the Perfect Christmas Tree Farm at 999 Rt. 22 in Phillipsburg, NJ. The fun begins at 9 am with the ReUse Market, one hour before the celebration, so get there early for the best selection. There will be live music on Sunday at 1pm by Red Reyne; African Drum Circles facilitated by Dave Miller from the Earthmovers on Saturday and by Mr. Ken from the Independence Drum School on Sunday. A live theatre production has been written and produced just for your Earth Day enjoyment. Get your hands dirty playing with the worms; plant some seedling and make seed balls to take home.

The Celebration goes from 10 AM to 4 PM and marks the 43rd anniversary of Earth Day. It will focus on eco-friendly events that include art, craft and music projects; a Kids’ Zone; local foods; green vendors and products; and a variety of entertainment for everyone. The farm is pet friendly so bring your friendly pet and spend some time enjoying nature. This is a rain or shine event, so come prepared for all types of weather. After all it is April.
