UNION, NJ – Four football players will represent their Sussex County high schools in the 37th annual Phil Simms New Jersey State North-South All-Star Classic. The game will be played tonight, Monday, June 29 at Kean University Alumni Stadium in Union. The kick-off is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Lucas Faria will represent Sparta High School. Faria was a key player on the SHS team that won the State Championship two years in a row. He is 5’11” and 190 pounds playing in the running back position.
Jordan Lorenzo will be representing Kittatinny Regional High School. Lorenzo is a 6’ 4” 190 pound wide out.
Scott Black from Pope John High School is 6’4”, 280 pounds playing on the offensive line.
Rylan Panghorn is from Lenape Valley Regional High School. The 6’1” 215 pound young man take the position of quarterback.
The game was named after Giants Quarterback Phil Simms. The Most Valuable Player awards were also named after former NFL Players who continue to be committed to promoting the sport at all levels of play.

The New Jersey Football Coaches Association Hall of Fame Induction ceremony will take place at halftime.
