FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ –A Hamburg man is being charged with several weapons violations after Franklin Borough police executed a search warrant at his workplace in Franklin.  Russell Watt, 38, was arrested at MJS Precision on Cork Hill Road for illegally making guns, police report.

Police referred to the cache of guns as an arsenal on Wednesday when they announce Watt’s arrest.  They recovered 10 semi-automatic and fully automatic weapons which police believe Watt had manufactured because they did not have serial numbers, police say.

The cache included M-16s, long guns and hand guns of various calibers, according to police.  In addition to the weapons, police say they found Watt had high capacity magazines and hollow point bullets.
