FRANKLIN, NJ - The Franklin Borough Police Department is asking the public for assistance identifying shoplifing suspects.  On January 5, the Franklin Police received a theft complaint from Walmart loss prevention.  On December 23, at approximately 8:50 p.m. a male and female suspect selected numerous pieces of merchandise from the store, totaling approximately $3000.  They appeared to make an attempt to remove the items from the store.  They were, however, unable to do so and left the store abruptly.

On Jan 4, at approximately 6 p.m. a female again gathered merchandise in the store and placed them in the cart.  The merchandise included small electronics such as Xbox One, Nintendo WiiU and video games.

It appears she was successful in removing over $2,000 in merchandise on that date.  The female was again in the store with the people who appear to be the same individuals making an attempt to remove items from the store on Jan 4.
