FRANKLIN BOROUGH, NJ - A Franklin man who is facing charges after selling a car that did not belong to him.  Mark Garrera was arrested at his mother's home on Susquehanna Street after police found that he had sold a car that he was supposed to be restoring.

Garrera, 25,  had been given parts and $400 to make the repairs.  The owner of the car complained to the police that after several months, he was unable to get in touch with Garrera and could not find his vehicle.

Franklin police investigated and found Garrera had sold the car and kept the proceeds. 

Police report he was arrested without incident. At the time of the arrest they also found he had an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on an unrelated criminal charge.
