FRANKLIN, NJ – Two Sussex County men face charges for twice vandalizing the Irish Cottage Inn on Route 23 in Franklin and posting it on social media.
Franklin Police Department investigated a complaint of damage caused to the rest room on January 22, police report. The Irish Cottage reported thousands of dollars of damage.
The two men, Sean Mc Bride, 21, and Przemyslaw “Perry” Karas, 22, had implicated themselves by filming the vandalism as it was being done and posting to social medial snapchat. An employee found the posting and reported them to management, police report.
The management of the Irish Cottage told the staff that the two were banned from returning. On January 28 management found the two had returned and caused more damage, police report.
Police picked up McBride in his home in Hardyston on February 1 around 6:30 p.m. They then picked up Karas at his residence in Franklin around 10:45 p.m. police report.
Both men were charged with criminal mischief and were released pending a court date. Franklin police say their investigation is ongoing and additional arrests may follow.
