While kids whine loudly about returning to school, many parents groan inwardly as well.  With school supplies to purchase, haircuts to schedule, lunches to plan, and social interaction to fret over, back-to-school time arrives with a worrisome weight.  This year, Project Self-Sufficiency of Newton offers a way to easily address a host of family concerns with the FREE Back-to-School Fair!

On Thursday, August 17th from 4 to 7 p.m., head to Project Self-Sufficiency of Newton for free kids’ haircuts by professional stylists; free backpacks brimming with school supplies; children’s games; kids’ crafts; refreshments; parent workshops and information sessions dealing with communication, anger, nutrition, literacy, household safety and healthy relationships; and more!  Attendees even qualify for a chance at a $250. Shop Rite gift card!

Registration is required by Wednesday, August 16th, so Team Nest Builder recommends calling or visiting the Project Self-Sufficiency of Newton website soon!  Project Self-Sufficiency of Newton is located at 127 Mill Street in Newton and can be reached at (973) 940-3500, or (844) 807-3500, or visited at projectselfsufficiency.org.  Now, all you’ll have to worry about is that impending avalanche of homework!
