A free seminar about health care careers will be offered to teens and adults on Wednesday, May 30th, from 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. at Project Self-Sufficiency. Dr. Tim Parker will be joined by Registered Nurse Lisa Ferrante and Sussex County Community College Director of Admissions Todd Poltersdorf for a discussion of the background, education and the skills necessary for success. Questions from the audience will be welcome. “Becoming You: Health Care Careers” will explore educational and professional opportunities in vocations such as nurse, dentist, physician, EKG technician, medical assistant, phlebotomist and other medical careers. The seminar is free and open to teens and adults, but registration is required. Interested participants are encouraged to call 973-940-3500 or 844-807-3500 to register.
