Get Your Child Singing with the Sussex County Children’s Chorus!

Sing! Sing a song! Sing a song in Sussex County!

Is your child always singing along to the radio? Belting out songs in your New Jersey home?  Maybe even taking vocal lessons? Team Nest Builder wants you to be aware that you can take their singing to the next level with The Children’s Chorus of Sussex County!

The Children’s Chorus of Sussex County offers a comprehensive choral music program that serves children and teens in northern New Jersey and northeastern Pennsylvania, and is currently seeking new members.  The Children's Chorus of Sussex County ensembles are widely known for their dedication, teamwork and artistic excellence (all great for your kids to learn!) The choristers follow an ambitious schedule, performing at a variety of venues throughout the area.  Students in the Concert Choir have even traveled extensively throughout the Americas and Europe!

There’s Musikgarten (for children 5-6 years old), the Bella Voce Choir (for beginner singers ages 7-13), the Concert Choir (for advanced singers ages 12-18) and a Young Men’s Ensemble (for boys grades 7-12 with changed voices).  Auditions are not required for Musikgarten, but are required for Bella Voce, Concert Choir and the Young Men’s Ensemble.

Annual tuition is under $500. There is a discount for additional children from the same family. Payment plans can be arranged. In addition, a uniform is required for concerts and new uniforms range from $50-85. Each year, parents are offered the opportunity to buy and sell used uniforms, in an effort to minimize the expense.

Visit an open house to learn more!  The Concert Choir and Young Men’s Ensemble will host an open house on Sunday, September 24th from 7 to 8:30 pm.  Bella Voce’s open house takes place Wednesday, September 27th from 4:30 to 6 pm.  A FREE Musikgarten class will be held Wednesday, September 13th from 5:30 to 6:20 pm.  Head to Christ Church, 62 Main Street, Newton.

Sparta Police: Michigan Man Arrested for Marijuana
